My Story
I’ve been in construction my whole life. Growing up in Walkertown, North Carolina, I spent most of my childhood outdoors, building treehouses and forts. By the time I was 14, I was framing houses for small local builders during the summers, and in high school I worked in construction delivery for a local lumber yard. While studying at Appalachian State, I even started a small handyman business.

After college, I launched a landscape design and installation company, which eventually led me to Windsor Homes. Over the next twenty years, I served as an area builder, overseeing the construction of hundreds of homes while also running side businesses that gave me hands-on experience in nearly every aspect of residential construction.

The desire to combine all of that knowledge with my creative eye inspired me to start Southern Creations & Design. With over 30 years of construction experience, I’m grateful for the opportunity to share my lifelong passion for building with families who are ready to bring their dream home to life.
